The need for restructuring, which is shared by many people in Nigeria’s diverse ethnic terrain, was at the heart of Iwuanyanwu‘s statement. He underlined that Igbo communities will be freed from the limitations of centralized management and given the ability to direct their own development through restructuring. He contended that Igbo regions would be better equipped to handle urgent problems like unemployment and poverty as a result of this power devolution.

According to him

“We’re fed up with pleading for things like light, water, and seaports. All we want for is authority from the federal government. We are saying, “Restructure. Even if we don’t win the presidency, we will develop our region. If we develop our region, our youth will find work. The majority of today’s issues are related to poverty and unemployment, and I’m determined to build a new Igboland.”
